Inverter Design for Improving Output Voltage of Fuel Cell Inverter with Filters [pp 1-7]
Rajan Ritu
Abstract: The growing demand of energy, concerns of environmental impact has increased the development of renewable energy such as wind, solar, ocean, biomass and geothermal power. Fuel cell is amongst the highest development of renewable resources .In any fuel cell based system, the inverter is a critical component responsible for the control of electricity flow between the modules, battery and load. This paper presents a comparison of three phase voltage source inverter with and without filter. The paper demonstrates using mat lab simulations about comparison in ..

Performance Evaluation and Testing Of CI Engine with Bio-Diesel ….[pp 13-18]
Diwaker Manoj Kumar, Jain Pushpendra Kumar
Abstract: Through transesterification, bio-diesel production from waste vegetable oil and karanja oil were studied, the oil produced were blended with neat bio-diesel and performance of CI engine is evaluated. This paper investigates the performance parameters of single cylinder 4 stroke diesel engine. Different proportions of blends of waste vegetable oil and karanja oil were tested. The results concluded that these blends can be used as an alternate fuel in CI engine without any engine modification ….

Software “ANSYS” Based Analysis on Replacement of Material of Sprocket ….[ pp 19 – 23 ]
Baghel Chandraraj Singh, Jain Abhishek, Dr. Nema A.K., Mahapatra Anil
Abstract: In this study of the stress of chain, sprocket of motorcycle is compared with the sprocket of plastic material made by PEEK. It has been achieved by using software ANSYS, by applying pressure in to the model of sprocket made in the said software. Sprocket of stainless steel is considered as an object and input variables have been taken by the physical measurement by vernier caliper, screw gauge, and different measuring instruments. As per requirement it has been designed as per the design procedure in Pro- E. With the insertion of that model into the software ANSYS and checking the finite element structure in that software; with different properties of stainless steel we found different values of equivalent stress, and total deformation ….

Static Analysis of Leaf Spring Made of Composite Material [pp 24-29]
Gaur Ankit, Jain Prabhash
Abstract: In this paper, we have proposed the composite materials for manufacturing the leaf spring of a vehicle in place of the traditional metals. Composites are not only good in strength but also less in weight and corrosion resistant. Due to high fuel prices in the market, the automobile industries are showing keen interest in replacing the heavy metallic parts with the lighter weight materials. This work shows the comparison of the performance of a composite spring and the traditional metallic spring. Composite leaf springs are not only lighter in weight but also less noisy than the metallic leaf spring. The leaf spring model is made in the CATIA software and the analysis was done using ANSYS 14. The composite material taken for the study is E glass epoxy which is an advanced composite ….

Design and Analysis of Nylon66 Ceiling Fan Blade Using Finite Element Method [pp 30-34]
Dahare Santosh Kumar, Dr. Rajvaidya Rohit
Abstract: The main objective of this paper work is to look into the fundamental issues regarding fan blade design and develop a new, easy to use software program that would allow for optimal, flexible blade designs. In this design of fan blade, material converted from existing aluminum into Nylon66. Fan blade design procedure for an optimum result according to FEM theory is performed. The designed blade shape is modified such that modified blade will be light in weight and less costly from existing blade material. In order ….

Analysis of Various Parameters of Self-excited Induction Generator Using MATLAB/GUI [pp 35-42]
Choudhary Deeksha, Dr. Masand Deepika
Abstract: In contrast to conventional generators, self-excited induction generators are found to be most suitable machines for energizing isolated locations using locally available renewable energy. This paper presents the analysis of a normal three-phase induction motor as a self-excited induction generator (SEIG) to feed single phase loads. Three Capacitor topology was considered for the star connected machine. In this paper the complete evaluation of steady-state behavior of SEIG under different operating conditions is done by user friendly software based solution. The mathematical modeling of the machine is carried out and then simulated in MATLAB’s Graphical User Interface (GUI) environment and active windows are created with these models. Various parameters are stimulated through presented methodology and have shown ….

Dynamic Data Mining – A Survey to New Approach [pp 43-49]
Shrivastava Anurag
Abstract: “Data mining refers to extracting or “mining” knowledge from large amounts of data.” Data mining should have been more appropriately named knowledge mining from data, so it is also popularly referred to as knowledge discovery in databases (KDD). Data mining can be performed on data represented in quantitative, textual, or multimedia forms. Its applications can use a variety of parameters to examine the data. As the databases tend to be large and dynamic, the classical and customary approach of generating a fixed set of data to analyze often misses the opportunity to handle uncertainty and to respond to the range of problem characteristics that can be captured through the use of simulation. A more responsive and effective approach involves conducting data mining for dynamic processes by analyzing the processes in action, as they are unfolding. This paper provides the insight into Dynamic Data Mining that uses simulation ….

Performance Evaluation and Testing Of CI Engine with Bio-Diesel Blended with Coconut Oil [pp 50-55]
Diwaker Manoj Kumar, Jain Pushpendra Kumar
Abstract: Need of a suitable sustainable fuel for existing internal combustion engines is being desperately felt these days, when petroleum reserves are soon going to vanish from the surface of earth. Biodiesel proposes one such option with its suitability as a replacement fuel for existing compression ignition engines, this paper presents the use of coconut biodiesel blend inside the 4-stroke CI engine and the performance curve in various parameters ….

Implementation of a Seven Level Inverter [pp 56-62]
Khan Shadma, Jain Monika, Kushwaha Mitali
Abstract: Power-electronic inverters are becoming popular for various industrial drives applications. In recent years also high-power and medium-voltage drive applications have been installed. Performance of multilevel inverter is superior to that of two level inverters due to reduced harmonic distortion and reduced electromagnetic interference. But it has some disadvantages also such as increased number of components and voltage balancing. This paper describes the general multilevel inverter with reduced number of switches and simple modulation technique.. Seven level multilevel inverters consist of ten IGBT Switches and three carriers. The multilevel converter works only in positive polarity and does not generate negative polarities, For negative polarity we are using H-bridge .We are measuring output voltage and Total Harmonic Distortion (THD) .In this modulation ….

Comparison between Induction Motor & Permanent Magnet Synchronous Motor [pp 63-67]
Singh Yogendra, Jain Shriyansh
Abstract: This paper discusses the working and result of permanent magnet motor and induction motor and the comparative analysis of speed, torque, current, efficiency of induction motor (IM) with permanent magnet motor. The permanent magnet motors have the better response of current, speed and give more efficiency than the induction motors. The working and performance analysis of a permanent magnet motor is done by the sliding mode observer with space vector pulse width modulation. Due to high speed and more efficiency of permanent magnet motor, it is widely used in industrial application as well as many other applications. An induction motor has starting and running windings, so the efficiency is less. All the work has been done in MATLAB/ Simulink software ….
